Keenfinity Group Explained: What Bosch’s Security Spin-Off Means for Integrators in Africa

Published April 2026 | By AV Pro Africa

If you’ve been working with Bosch security products in Africa — cameras, intrusion panels, access control, or public address systems — the brand landscape has changed significantly. Some products are still Bosch. Some are now IQSIGHT. Some are Radionix. And the parent company behind most of them is an entity called Keenfinity Group.

This article explains the full picture so you can update your specifications, advise clients correctly, and avoid costly misunderstandings on tenders.

The Short Version: What Happened

On 1 July 2025, Triton — a major European private equity firm — completed its acquisition of Bosch’s security and communications technology product business. That business now operates as an independent company called Keenfinity Group.

Keenfinity is not a start-up. It inherited approximately 4,300 employees, 90 locations worldwide, and over €1 billion in annual revenue from Bosch. It is the same people, the same factories, the same R&D teams, and the same products — now under independent ownership with a mandate to grow.

Meanwhile, Bosch retained its building technologies systems integration business and its fire detection product line. These remain part of Robert Bosch GmbH.

Keenfinity’s Four Business Divisions

As of January 2026, Keenfinity Group operates as a holding company with four distinct business units:

1. Video — IQSIGHT

Formerly Bosch Video Systems. Rebranded to IQSIGHT on 19 February 2026. Includes the full camera portfolio (FLEXIDOME, AUTODOME, DINION, MIC), the IVA Pro analytics platform, and video management software. IQSIGHT positions itself as an “intelligence-first” video security brand with a strong push into AI and generative AI capabilities.

2. Intrusion & Access — Radionix + Bosch

This division covers intrusion alarm systems and access control. In September 2025, Keenfinity launched Radionix as its new brand specifically for intrusion alarm panels and systems. The Radionix G Series is the flagship, combining intrusion detection, access control, and fire alarm integration into a single centralised platform.

Bosch-branded intrusion sensors and access control hardware continue alongside Radionix. For African integrators, Radionix panels integrate with Genetec Security Center via Synergis, allowing intrusion and access events to appear on the same unified dashboard as your IQSIGHT video feeds.

3. Audio — Bosch, Electro-Voice, Dynacord, RTS, Telex

Keenfinity’s audio division houses a portfolio of globally recognised professional audio brands. Bosch public address and voice alarm (PA/VA) systems are widely deployed in African commercial buildings, transport hubs, and stadiums. Electro-Voice and Dynacord serve the professional sound reinforcement market. RTS and Telex cover intercom and communication systems for broadcast, live events, and industrial applications.

These brands retain their existing identities under Keenfinity ownership. For integrators who specify Bosch PA/VA alongside Bosch security, the key change is that PA/VA is now a Keenfinity product while fire detection remains Bosch.

4. Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS)

Keenfinity also operates a contract electronics manufacturing division. While this is less visible to the African integrator market, it underpins the group’s manufacturing independence and capacity.

Critical Clarification: Bosch Fire Detection Is NOT Keenfinity

This is the single most important point for African specifiers to understand. Bosch Fire Detection — including the AVENAR, FPA, and FMC product lines — remains part of Robert Bosch GmbH. It was not included in the Triton acquisition.

If you’re working on a project that includes both video surveillance and fire detection, you are now dealing with two separate companies: Keenfinity (for IQSIGHT cameras, Radionix intrusion, Bosch access control, Bosch PA/VA) and Bosch (for fire detection). Your supply chain, support contacts, and warranty terms may differ between these product groups even though the products were historically all “Bosch.”

Getting this wrong on a tender can cause procurement headaches, warranty confusion, and delays. Spell it out explicitly in your specifications.

What African Integrators Should Do Now

Update your specifications: Replace “Bosch Video Systems” with “IQSIGHT (formerly Bosch Video Systems)” on all active and upcoming tenders. Use “Radionix” for new intrusion panel specifications. Keep “Bosch” for fire detection, sensors, and access control hardware as appropriate.

Verify your supply chain: Confirm with your regional distributor whether Keenfinity products and Bosch Fire Detection products are still available through the same channel, or whether the split has created separate distribution paths in your market.

Educate your clients: End clients and consultants in Africa are largely unaware of these changes. The integrator who proactively explains the new brand structure — and demonstrates that product quality and support continuity are intact — earns trust and credibility in competitive bids.

Review Genetec integration touchpoints: If you’re running a unified Genetec Security Center deployment, verify that your camera (IQSIGHT), intrusion (Radionix), and access control (Bosch) integrations are all current with the latest plug-ins and firmware versions post-rebrand.
